Marcas McPhee was born in Glasgow, Scotland to American artist Sean and Elisabeth McPhee. Marcas moved back to the states as a young boy, where his parents enrolled him in art classes. His love of the arts stems from his mother (a sculptor) and father (an actor), who have always supported him in his work.

Marcas graduated college with a BFA in fine arts. Since entering the professional world, he has focused mainly on photography and painting. In his free time he still loves to dabble in sculpting. His work has been shown many galleries, both in the U.S and abroad.
